The Crawfordsville Community Center is located next to the 18-hole municipal golf course, which is adjacent to Mulligan Park is the City of Crawfordsville. The Parks and Recreation department moved from a condemned WWII Quonset building (which is now been demolished) into the new building last year. The use of the leisure activities by the people of Crawfordsville and surrounding communities has risen due to the opening of the new facility. The new facility consist of 26,000 sq.ft. On two levels.

 

The second level includes a walking track with a large exercise/tumbling room and a weight/fitness room. The building’s core is built of a steel structure with wood structure for the office and senior portions. The building not only consolidated the parks functions, but also the seniors as well.
