The building is three floors with approximately 6,000 sq.ft. Per
floor. The first floor consist of the county clerk’s offices and
storage. The send and third floors are identical. They include the
Circuit court and Superior court for the county. Each floor is operated
independently of the other. There is a dumbwaiter for transfer of
files from the 1st to upper floors. There is only one entrance to
the addition and existing building. There are several emergency
exits. This was done to create a controlled access point into the
building. The probation offices will be moving into the existing
building, which shares the access point. The entrance lobby at the
East is open to all three floors with an open all oak stair system.
