The second floor is utilized for a walking track. It can be accessed by the open lobby stair at the front/main entrance, by a back stairwell, or by a “mini elevator”. The track has several unique features including; overlook into the 2 ½ story lobby, overlook into the IHSAA regulation gymnasium, and the observation over the racquetball courts. The overlook into the gym and racquetball courts also assist in teaching efforts.

The 1st floor corridor is below the 2nd floor running track. The central gymnasium includes; retractable goals, large storage directly off floor, a monitor room, and an equipment checkout room. For code and security reasons, large steel shutters can be lowered to separate the gym from the corridor. The gym also has several acoustical wall panels throughout to help reduce noise throughout the building. The floor of the gymnasium is 3/4” maple over plywood and 2x furring on concrete. The gym is not only setup for regulation IHSAA basketball court dimensions, but also for IHSAA volleyball requirements.
